Following a loss of independence, Marie-Thérèse, 80 year-old, leaves her house to move into a home.
She discovers an institutionalised environment, where communal meals and workshops were the order of the day. Adapting to this new life is difficult, she expresses her distress to a relative, my mother Eliane.
With her help, Marie-Thérèse tries to find a way out and looks for her new place.
